mr170614 Mash It Up is back
Mash It Up, get creative and have the chance to win great prizes these school holidays at Moreton Bay Region Libraries.
From June 30 to July 11, Mash It Up hosts a series of free workshops including filmmaking, sculpting and screen-printing for teenagers aged 13 to 17.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Lifestyle and Amenity Spokesperson councillor Julie Greer said there were plenty of sessions on offer across all of the region’s libraries.
“Mash It Up is back with activities to keep you entertained and creative during the school holidays,” Cr Greer said.
“This year’s workshops include cyborg makeup, old-school flip book animating and learning to make animated GIFs.
“Spots fill up quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.”
Councillor Greer said during the school holidays the region’s libraries would also hold a comic strip writing competition with the chance to win a $25 book voucher.
“To enter the competition, visit your local library and fill out a competition form,” Cr Greer said.
