The Moreton Bay region has the opportunity to make a dazzling contribution to south-east Queensland’s biggest Christmas lights event.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor, Allan Sutherland, said council would join the 2009 4KQ Christmas Lights Competition – which, for the very first time, will be open to all residents in the region.
“Last year many homes in the Moreton Bay region put on some awesome Christmas light displays and I urge everyone to start planning their festive masterpieces now.”
“We’ll be on show to the entire region – the stakes are high and the rewards rich.”
