May2014_”Soup’s Up”
SOUP DAY – 14th June 2014
at CEDAR CREEK PUBLIC HALL
from 12 noon until 6pm
On Saturday 14th June 2014 the Friends of Cedar Creek Hall will be holding their unique annual fundraiser, a “Soup Day”
Homemade Soup and Breads are donated by local folk and sold to all who venture out for this lovely event. Soup just goes down so well on a Winter’s day – especially homemade!
Six different performance groups, covering various musical styles, are giving their time, to keep visitors entertained during the day. Activities also available for the kids.
Entry is by Gold Coin donation. Soup costs $5 per mug, and this includes a slab of homemade bread. There will be a variety of soups and breads to choose from.
Soft drinks will be on sale too.
Whilst there are mugs available it would be great to BYO your mug, as well as a chair or blanket, to sit around an enjoy the entertainment provided and general camaraderie fostered.
The money raised helps to pay for the annual insurance costs and maintenance of this lovely old hall.
