May2014_Dayboro RSL Chapter News

Bray Park – Strathpine RSL Sub Branch
I would personally like to thank everyone in the Dayboro district for their support in purchasing badges etc. and other memorabilia leading up to Anzac Day this year.

Our free sausage sizzle on 19 April 2014 was an outstanding success again, with many items of memorabilia sold, new members signed up and many new friends made.  The reason for these free sausage sizzles is the RSL’s way of thanking the community for their gracious support throughout the year on Remembrance and ANZAC Days.

ANZAC Day was an excellent turnout for members and guests with a superb body of personnel marching behind our banner this year.  I thank all those members and guests that returned to the RSL after the service for lunch and a refreshment, as a good time was had by all.

Inquires are welcome, and if you wish to become a member of your local Dayboro RSL (Returned and Services League) or you have any questions regarding membership or eligibility please contact either Alex McMillan (President) on 0417 476 253 or Wally Franklin (Secretary) or both via email Daybororsl@gmail.com
