Robert Bradfield is an artist living and working in Dayboro.
Robert Bradfield is an artist living and working in Dayboro.
As a child, Robert was always drawing and he has now been painting for many years. He paints with a variety of mediums such as oils, watercolours and ink.
Robert is a traditional landscape artist and prefers to paint on location. This gives him the opportunity to be one with nature, which provides him with a source of inspiration for his artwork. As a result, his artwork reflects his love for the Australian landscape. When Robert is unable to be on location, he paints in his studio at Dayboro, using photos taken whilst travelling extensively throughout Australia.
Robert is mainly self taught and has won many awards at shows in South East Queensland and has sold his work in Australia and overseas. Robert is actively involved with the local art community where he is President of the Dayboro Art Gallery.
