March2014_Australia Day Achievement Medallions
These medallions are presented to staff and volunteers who have performed exceptional work, above and beyond the normal course of duty, to provide significant contribution to the delivery of fire and emergency services in QLD.
This year’s recipients were presented with their medallions at an awards ceremony held at the Emergency Service Complex at Kedron on 21st January 2014.
Medallion recipients include:

Neil Cooke – Mt Mee RFB,
Liane Henderson – Samsonvale RFB,
Nadine Andersen – Dayboro & District RFB
Roger Daly – Narangba RFB,
Petrina Hawkins – Brookfield RFB,
Karen Thompson – Clear Mountain RFB
Melissa Webb recently transferred from Clear Mountain RFB. Last month she was presented with the Olga Wilson award for her tireless work as a Firecare Peer Support Officer. Mel is pictured above with her very proud Dad.
The Olga Wilson Award for PSOs is an annual Award established to recognise a PSO who has provided outstanding service and support to QFRS fire fighters and their families in times of difficulty.
