Ocean View Estates’ legendary Unwind in the Vines annual concert is just around the corner, but you still have time to book your tickets to see country music great Troy Cassar-Daley live in the vineyard, along with the Queensland Youth Orchestra Big Band and local acts The Redsell Brothers and The Winter of Reason.
This is a day not to be missed, with gates opening at 9am for breakfast and an art exhibition, and music from 12.30pm – 5.30pm.
You’ll also have a chance to win an original piece of aboriginal artwork painted by Troy himself and donated for a raffle supporting Humanitarian Projects International.
Estate co-owners Thomas and Kate Honnef also have a couple of surprises in store for locals from Dayboro and surrounding areas, with new locals specials on the menu and a special wine tasting to unveil the new vintage.
On Friday 20 June from 5-6pm you’re invited to be among the first to sample the 2014 vintage for just $10 per head, including nibbles, so bring a crowd and see for yourself why Ocean View Estates wines are award-winning.
Following on from the popular Laid-back Locals Menu, chef Tony Tierney will be offering up brand new $25 locals dinner specials on Thursday and Friday nights. These meals will change from week to week, offering more choices, but Kate said the incredible beef cheeks dish will remain on offer at that great price for locals throughout the winter months.
That change to locals specials follows the introduction of a new al a carte menu which showcases local produce and beautiful food like never before.
