We moved here in September and our property is unfenced. Why is it that strangers and neighbours feel that they can trespass on our property?
As recently as the beginning of May a vehicle pulled up and a man and his son got out and decided to kick a soccer ball on our property ~ I have no idea who he is or where he lives. After a while I asked him to move on and as a result I copped an earful. He claimed to be on the Council verge, but was clearly beyond that and on our land. I simply don’t understand why people no longer respect boundaries ~ of any kind. Our property isn’t a public park ~ and unless it was an emergency my husband and I would never trespass on another person’s property. Yes our land is flat and good for kicking a ball around, but we moved here because we wanted peace and quiet. It is inconceivable to think that we might have to fence our acreage because every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks they can use it as they see fit.
