Jun2013_DAYBORO FRAMED PHOTO COMPETITION

 – ENTER NOW!
Calling all residents of Dayboro and surrounding areas: it’s time to get your cameras clicking for the inaugural Dayboro Framed photographic competition.
With categories for Adults, Youth (13-17 years) and Primary School Children, the competition will showcase the Dayboro region as viewed and experienced by the community.
The competition is the brainchild of local residents Mark and Zoe Patterson, who will donate all funds raised to the Queensland Institute of Medical Research through their involvement in this year’s Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer.  The fundraising ride is on 17 and 18 August and Mark and Zoe are signed up to ride an incredible 200km in two days for cancer research.
The entry fee for all categories is $25 (which will be classed as a tax-deductible donation), and photographs will be displayed throughout Dayboro, creating an exhibition of quintessential Dayboro.
Entries are open now, and will close on 30 June.
The competition will be judged by a local professional photographer and there will be cash prizes for each category.
For more information, visit Mimish Hair, 16 Bradley Street, phone Zoe on 0408 181 528, or look up her Ride to Conquer Cancer participant page by visiting:
