Public Rural Crisis Fund
In recent years we have witnessed the devastating effects of natural disasters across our country, such as drought, flood and bushfire. The Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) established the Public Rural Crisis Fund (PRCF) to provide support to members of the public in times of crisis.
People donating to the fund can be confident in the knowledge that 100% of money received goes to those in need as all administration costs are covered by other sources. Also money is distributed by way of grocery store gift vouchers, store credit and payment of accounts (eg utility and medical). NO cash is paid.
Our Branch makes regular contributions to this fund and anyone can donate (donations over $2 are tax deductible). For more information or to donate visit the website www.qcwa.org.au or phone 3026 1219 during office hours.
