July2014_DAYBORO CHEMMART PHARMACY COMMUNITY FUND

Last month we presented Equine Action QLD with a big cheque for $1000!  We raised the money by selling a whole lot of raffle tickets and cupcakes on Dayboro Day and from donating 5% of the profits of our Chemmart branded products.  This donation would not have been possible without the support and generosity of the Dayboro community and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who bought a cupcake, raffle ticket or Chemmart product.  

The team at Equine Action QLD are doing an amazing job of rehabilitating and caring for horses such as Ziggy that have been surrendered by their owners.  Caring for a sick or injured horse is a very costly exercise so this donation will provide them with some much needed funds.  With the donation, 25% will go towards Dumbledore, a premature miniature pony, to help his owner pay for his costly medical expenses.
