TRAFFIC LIGHTS IN DAYBORO!!!  OH MY!!
Whilst the work on the bridge in Williams Street Dayboro is being carried out, there is only be one lane open on this section of the road.
Whilst workers are there, they will have the people working STOP & SLOW signage, but, after hours they will have the RED and GREEN traffic lights operating.  I draw this to everyone’s attention because, recently, I had a driver speed past me as I waited for the light to change from red to green, after traffic had been let through from the opposite direction!
Was this driver impatient with the wait?  OR Did they, not expect traffic lighting in Dayboro, and think that I had just rudely stopped on the roadway?  Either way it was a serious matter!
When you feel impatient waiting those couple of minutes, consider those whose travels involve the Blackbutt Range!  They have delays of about 30 minutes with the landslide damage from January 2011 still being fixed!!
We, however, have a choice when coming from the top end of Dayboro – i.e. using the Hall Laneway (one-way only).
