The Kriesch family Edward, Reginald, Wilfred, Marjorie, Raymond, and Colin Kriesch were all born in Samsonvale, Raymond died when he was only 13. Edward and his wife Gladys were living in Kallangur until Edward passed away 2 years ago. Marj and her husband Merv (passed 2001) have been active members of our community for many years. Although they have spent time in employment away from Samsonvale, the ties to the district always remained strong. The Neighbourhood Watch and the Lawnton Poultry Club are two of the groups that were enriched by their membership.
Marj and Glad are moving to Kingaroy and would love to take this opportunity, to farewell old friends in the hall where they both have celebrated their weddings, Silver and Golden Anniversaries. Please drop by and share a cuppa and a light afternoon tea.
