FOOTIE CLUB NEWS March 08

Dayboro Opens played in the Pine Rivers Cup at Dayboro on 9th February 2008.  Dayboro played Samford and WON 22 – 6, retaining the Jack Lawson/Earl McDonald Shield.
The next game, at Pine Rivers on 16th February, resulted in Pine Rivers winning 16/30, after Dayboro was ahead 12/8 at the half time mark.

The FINALS were played at Dayboro on 23rd February between Dayboro and Pine Rivers.  The half-time score was 4/6 and this hard-fought game saw Pine Rivers emerge as victors for the 2008 Pine Rivers Cup, with a final score of just 4/10.
Meals continue at the Club every second Friday – next meals 14th March 2008.  Come along and support the Club.

We are still looking for players – U7s to Opens.  Fees are very reasonable at $60, compared to other sports.  So come and join our family friendly Club.
