FAREWELL TO DICK DALE

My dear friend Dick (Gilbert) Dale passed away on 5th July. Dick, we all cared for you.

You liked your bus trips with Kevin and Sabra.  We had good times.
To the people who rang up and offered your sympathies, I am sorry that you didn’t have the chance to say goodbye.  I know Dick would have loved a party.
He worked (in years past) for the Rodeo and Show Society and the community lost a good mate.
You liked having coffee at the Bakery – the girls would make a fuss of you and you loved it.
You had humour, tenderness, kindness  and stubbornness.
You were left handed and, as a school boy, you tried using your right hand.  You found it hard and therefore you didn’t like writing at all.
You and Phyllis (your sister) enjoyed each other’s company, always asking her to play music with the spoons.
Dick and Vera, thank you for the good times we had together.  None can take that away.
Love,
Mary Albrow.
