– Four Winds

Drum Circle held 1st Sunday of every month at 2pm.

This event is simply a gathering of people of all ages to play percussion instruments, usually hand drums like djembes, tablas, bongos etc. Clapping sticks, finger cymbals, rainmakers and didgeredoos also welcome.

It is not a class or performance.  The purpose is to create spontaneous music and rhythm, and enjoy yourself.

It is fun, uplifting and meditative. It is open to all people regardless of musical knowledge. However, experienced drummers to facilitate rhythms are particularly welcome!  Gold coin donation appreciated.

Four Winds – Land for Wildlife Open Property Scheme on Saturday, 20^th September

If you feel like indulging your natural side and getting the family out for some land and wildlife appreciation  Earth Links property ‘Four Winds’ is home to a number of rare species of flora and fauna.  To help Land for Wildlife Queensland celebrate its 10th Anniversary, we are opening the property, to walk on one of the many trails displaying property management,  riparian vegetation, glossy black cockatoos, hoop pines and eucalypts, flooded gums, Sydney blue gums.

Guest speaker is Martin Fingland from Geckos Wildlife, including a mobile local wildlife display.

Four Winds will be open from 10am to 12 noon.  Cost is free and morning tea included.

Please bring a hat, water and walking shoes.

Walks are suitable for all ages and parking available.
