The discussion raised ideas, concerns and personal experiences that local people are experiencing and their suggestions on creating, preserving and enhancing jobs.  I encourage everyone in the community to go to www.jobsforaustralia.com and participate in what is a great initiative to ensure we leave no stone unturned in our efforts to protect jobs and create new opportunities for Australians.
It was also my great pleasure on 15 July, to host the Coalition Shadow Cabinet meeting which met for the first time in the Dickson electorate.  The Moreton Bay Regional Council provided a fantastic venue for this occasion and it was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our community and discuss local issues with Shadow Ministers.
