Dec2014_Stay on track this Christmas

Create a fun filled joyous Christmas filled with fun, friends, family, healthy clean food and active good times. Start planning now.
The average person puts on up to 3/4 kilos over the Christmas period!  That’s around 20,000-30,000 extra calories.  Startling!
Top tips to set yourself up to win.

– Set realistic goals for this Christmas.  You can choose to maintain or lose and enroll your family and friends in keeping you accountable.
– Diarize the next two months.  Identify on your calendar the events where you know you’ll be indulging.  All other times keep your diet lean and clean.  Moderation is key!
– Eat a balanced meal before you head off to the Christmas party.
– Plan your exercise so that it remains consistent, keep a training focus.
– Stay hydrated!  .03ltrs for each kilo of body weight.  Start by adding lemon/lime every morning.
– Add ½ glass of water for each glass of wine or 20 mins exercise.
– No fried foods – NONE!  Processed meats are high in sodium, add avacado to your salad to help balance.
– If you’re drinking, then Red wine, vodka, tequila with lemon or lime juice are better choices over white wine, beer or bubbles.
– Limit your salt and sugar intake no pre-mixed alcohol or energy drinks.
Have this Christmas go your way!
