Tis the season…
What better way to welcome the start of the festive season than with a Christmas Morning Tea for the senior members of our community. Held at the Dayboro Showgrounds on Tuesday 19th November, we were joined by almost 80 young at heart from the local area.
All enjoyed lovely home baked treats, ongoing raffles and a thoroughly entertaining talk from Professor Lindsay Brown on foods as medicines. Thank you to all who attended and to our members who once again excelled at what they do best…supporting our community.
We have a couple of Christmas functions to cater during December before enjoying a well-deserved break in January. Craft classes have finished for the year and the card players will take a short break over the Christmas and New Year break.
We wish everyone in our community a joyous Christmas and peaceful New Year.
