Dec2013_Christmas / Summer Holiday Art Workshops for Kids
The Studio Shed will be hosting their popular art workshops for kids during the first and last weeks of the summer holiday. Each day has a different theme which features a well known artist or art movement. Children learn a little about art history and the featured artist and then work on a canvas inspired by them.
Don’t worry if you or your child is unfamiliar with the artist, you will know everything about them after the workshop and have some beautiful art ready to hang.
The workshops are held in a large purpose built studio in Cedar Creek.
Helen Evans, the owner operator of The Studio Shed has extensive teaching experience here in Australia and overseas. She has BA and MA degrees in visual arts, has exhibited her own work worldwide and is blue card registered.
Class starts at 9.30 and finishes at 3pm. Each class costs $55 which includes all materials. Multi day and sibling discounts are available.

December 17- surrealism – Dali and Magritte
December 18 – painted cows Dubuffet style
December 19 – water lilies – Monet
Last week of holidays
January 21 – Marc Chagall – flying figures
January 22 – abstract – Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko
January 23 – Mona Lisa
