Dec12_ARTIST ON THE MOVE

This artist is on the move.  Local artist Janina Liddell loves to travel.  She travels with her sketchbooks and says that it’s important for her to travel with enough time to really look at the scenery and people and there is no better way to do it than with a sketchbook in hand.

To encourage others to travel at a thoughtful pace, Janina is running two sessions at the Arana Hills Library to explain the many approaches that are available to take and to give tips from her experiences.
She uses pens, pen and wash, acrylic bases, soft pastels and watercolours in her travel sketchbooks.
Janina will be showing her sketchbooks from her journey to France and Italy last year and some paintings that resulted from her studies in those sketchbooks.  
Next September, Janina is leading a group to Italy – Tuscany and Cinque Terre, so has great tips for those who wish to travel with a sketchbook and some of you may like to join Janina on her tour next year.  If you are interested in this wonderful opportunity to travel with like minded people, absorb art and culture, eat great food, follow your dream of  travelling – sketch, photograph, paint, see sights and make new friends, please contact Janina on 3289 3703 or janinaliddellart@live.com.au
