DAYBORO TRAILRIDERS
Do not forget our upcoming Cabaret, Saturday 6th September, $20 per head and a licensed bar. Peter Smith is our popular singing entertainer and Long John Best our Bush poet. The camp oven meal is again being prepared by Don and Noella Lee. Contact the club for tickets.
For any information on our Club (or for Cabaret tickets) go to www.dayborotrailriders.com.au or Kaylene Giles on 3425 1650 or Bob Ebert on 3425 1651.
The Club’s last ride was supported by 25 riders including the usual sprinkling of visitors and although it took around an hour longer than normal, was enjoyed by all.
The Team penning at the Dayboro Show was again very well patronised with 107 teams participating over the two days, and some of the cattle tested the riders more than usual. Thank you to all competitors — see you next year.
A very big thank you to all who donated cattle and also to our sponsors. It was very much appreciated. A further thank you to our members who worked at the Show or provided transport for the cattle.
It is great that the A.T.H.R.A. (Australian Trail Horse Riders Association) Queensland Branch September Camp is on again this year running from 20th to 28th September at Jabiru property in the Noosa Hinterland. Go to the A.T.H.RT.A. website for all information.
