DAYBORO SHOW BUSH DANCE Saturday 28th March 2009

Mark the date on your calendar, in your diary – wherever you keep track of those ‘not to be missed’ local happenings. 
This is again set to be a great family event.  Stone the Crows bush band will be playing.  You may remember them from the Craig Doyle Stage on Dayboro Day last year and also at the Combined Churches Bush Dance held in September ’08.

The event is licensed and supper will be provided.  There will be a few new things this year, with the children in mind.
This event is also the venue for the judging of the Miss Dayboro Showgirl Quest for 2009.
Tickets will be available from the last week in February.  Prices are:
    Adult    $15.00
    Pensioner/High School    $8.00
    Children     $5.00
This year will feature different coloured tickets for each price group – this should make it easier for all.
There is also consideration being given to a ‘best dressed cowperson’ on the night – so get your thinking caps on, dust off that wrangling’ gear and come along for a great night.
DAYBORO MISS SHOWGIRL QUEST FOR 2009
Of course an important feature of the Show Bush Dance is the judging of the entrants in the Dayboro Miss Showgirl Quest.  The winner of this goes on to represent Dayboro in the Regional Quest and possibly further.
Remember that last year’s winner, Sarah Hill (pictured at right), went all the way to the RNA (Ekka) in 2009.
So come on young ladies – put your hand up to enter the Quest in ’09.
