DAYBORO RASCALS PLAYGROUP June08

A big hello from all the rascals at playgroup!
All the little rascals are hoping our Mums had a very special and relaxing Mother’s Day.  We had a very special morning tea to celebrate the event with all the mums present enjoying a little feast of homemade goodies.  And it is now on with the full on job of mothering for another year.
We also hope everyone enjoyed Dayboro Day and loved spotting us in our costumes as we proudly marched in the parade.  Our costume shop went well with lots of dress up outfits now in the hands of proud little rascal wearers.  Beware of them in the street.  Silky mermaids, furry dinosaurs, Knights in shining armor just to name a few are bound to meet you at any turn.  Give them a smile and a friendly wave and they will continue on their merry way.
From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank all those people involved in gathering materials, sewing and sewing and sewing, setting up and packing up the stall and working on the stall.  Without this help the day would not have been the success it was.  Let us just take a moment to think of the huge task it was and these people, coordinated by Jill, pulled it together like it was an everyday job.  Thanks!!!!
We want to welcome into our group Henry Alexander Jason Deller who was born 3rd April.  Jason, Jenny and little sister Jazlyn are really enjoying the new addition to the family. Talking of new additions, out of 12 women at playgroup a few Mondays ago, 9 of them were pregnant and all due this year.  WOW!!! Playgroup will be continuing for a long time yet………..
National Playgroup Week and Under 8’s Week were great times of celebration and enjoyed by all.  It’s wonderful to celebrate being little even when you are a grown up!!!!!!
New members are always welcome to join in the fun at Dayboro Rascals so come along to the back yard of the bank building on a Monday or Wednesday morning.

Until next time,
Happy Playgrouping
