DAYBORO RASCALS PLAYGROUP
Hello to you all, Us rascals have been very busy of late participating in some healthy activities which is very fitting as it is the year of physical activity.
We have had Pilates demonstrations and a morning of learning how to do some belly dancing. Hard to believe that even after giving birth to our little rascals there is still the ability to make those bellies dance. We would like to thank the ladies who took time out to allow us the opportunity to take part in these activities.
We have also had a change to the president. Work and family commitments have left Cathy with less time than she anticipated to devote to playgroup. We thank you Cathy for the time and effort that you put in and for the enthusiasm you bought to playgroup. We wish you all the best. Jill Warschau has stepped up and taken on the role for the rest of the year. Please take the time to support her in this new job.
There was a last minute change to the combined day activity at North Pine dam last month. Wet weather prevented the visit to the dam happening but one of the Mums came to the rescue and opened her house up to us. The Children enjoyed the morning playing, exploring and enjoying a different environment and it was a great time for Mums to relax. Thanks Karen. We appreciate your generosity.
Be on the look out for more information about a fantastic Father’s Day BBQ we are planning to have at the park in Laidlaw St. It will be a great day of fun for all the family and a chance to meet some of our rascals dads.
