Dayboro Players Set to “Thread the Boards” Again in ’08

Yes, it is that time again when we start to think about this years play.  Once again we are fortunate to have a local person prepared to write another play for us.  I think everyone agrees that the last few plays have been great and we expect another great one this year.

We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to take part in the production in any way.  That is, we are seeking actors, a prompt, stage manager and other helpers.  Do not be concerned if you have little or no experience as you will find the group helpful and will have a great time.  You may have noticed that the play is a source of great entertainment for the cast as well as the audience.  Unfortunately, joining the cast does mean a real commitment to rehearsals, at first once a week and nearer the performance twice each week.
We are holding a meeting for everyone who wants to be in the play this year to come along and try out for a part.  We will be kind!! Come along on Tuesday March 25th to the Community Hall at 7.15pm.
