ddpai_logo_colourjpg.jpgSWAGGIES CHRISTMAS:  It’s on again.  Pack up the family and come on up to the Dayboro Show grounds for a fun night.  Jumping castle, local entertainment, food and of course SANTA will arrive with all the bells and whistles that the Dayboro Rurals and Dayboro Police can muster.  It starts at 5pm and wraps up by approx 8pm.  You can buy a sausage sizzle or a hamburger and a soft drink or, you can BYO picnic.  Swaggies will again be held INSIDE the pavilion so there is no fear that we will be rained on.  If you would like to make a gold coin donation, which will go to the Dayboro Community Churches, you can go into the draw to win a wonderful hamper, drawn on the night.  Hope you can make it, see you there 🙂

DAYBORO CHRISTMAS TREE:

Dayboro Christmas tree will be erected in Roderick Cruice Park on Saturday Nov 28th so watch out for our pretty lights.  Maybe that will encourage the Dayboro Businesses to join in the Christmas Spirit and put up their Christmas décor.  Let’s make Dayboro sparkle.

DAYBORO COMMUNITY CALENDAR 2016:  Your 2016 Calendar will be in your letterboxes, yes, that’s correct, in your letterboxes in early December.  We have decided to have the calendar delivered and have asked some businesses in Dayboro to help out with the cost of the calendar this year.  Their business will be featured every month in the calendar, so please support them.  The 2016 calendar will be all about Dayboro Day Festival as 2016 will be the 25th year of the festival.

DAYBORO MARKET:  The markets are going strong with some new stalls this year.  Proceeds from the 2014 markets have been dispersed as follows- $200 to Laps 4 Life, $3250.00 to QIMR (Qld Institute of Medical Research), and $1000.00 to Dayboro Churches Community Chest.  Our Market encourages visitors to our town who then frequent local businesses, and when they have such a lovely time, are keen to visit again and again each month.  The Market is also an opportunity for locals to sell their goods without having to venture too far from home.  The ultimate reward to the Dayboro Sunday Market is being able to provide much needed funds as already mentioned.

Fees for stalls are: $15 for a 3m x 3m site.

For more information, please contact Lexie 3425 2260 or Steve 3425 2456.  REMEMBER there is NO MARKET IN JANUARY.

NEXT GENERAL MEETING:

Thursday 17th December 2015 at 6.30pm will be our last meeting for the year.  We may even have some Christmas cheer.  Come along and find out.

All Dayboro residents are very welcome.  It is good to get involved in your community and have your say.
