Council to create Ekka horticultural display
Moreton Bay Regional Council will create a horticultural display for this year’s Royal Queensland Show in August. Moreton Bay Regional Council will produce the display, following a Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland invitation to participate.
Acting Mayor Greg Chippendale said Moreton Bay region covers a large variety of communities and landscapes and has much of which to be proud.
“Entering this year’s Ekka competition will continue a Caboolture tradition while helping us forge an identity for our region,” he said.
To be planned and constructed by council’s parks and recreation staff, the display will be based on the theme Year of the Scout.
