On September 12 and 13 the Dayboro Players presented “The Curse of the Golden Dagger”, at the Dayboro Community Hall.  I attended the Friday performance.

Dayboro LAC (Local Ambulance Committee)

Marian Krause was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and a badge in recognition of her 30 years of service to the Dayboro Ambulance – firstly on the Ladies Auxiliary in the QATB days, then on the LAC.

While the rest of Dayboro was watching the Olympics from their couches, the children at Dayboro Community Kindergarten were in training for their own sporting event – the 2008 Kindy Olympathon.

Dayboros’ Under 10s at SHANE WEBCKE SHIELD

The Shane Webcke Shield is held every year for Under 10 players from 16 invited clubs.  Once it was heard that Shane Webcke was at the canteen signing autographs, needless to say, there was a rush from the boys and a few mums to see the great Queensland forward.
