Pine Rivers Annual Police Officer of the Year Award
The search is on again for Pine Rivers’ top police officer with nominations open for the Pine Rivers Annual Police Officer of the Year Award.
The award began in Pine Rivers in 2002 and, supported by the Rotary Club of Pine Rivers, is the community’s chance to highlight the many positive things that police officers in Pine Rivers do, above and beyond the call of duty.
Nominate a police officer and explain how that officer provided you with confidence, safety, defused a potentially dangerous situation or helped you through a difficult time.
Each nominee receives a certificate recognising the contribution they have made to the Pine Rivers community. The winner has his or her name engraved on a perpetual trophy and also receives $500, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Pine Rivers, to donate to the charity or charities of their choice.
The award gives the public a wonderful chance to show their appreciation for police officers they have had the experience of dealing with over the course of the year.
