Artist of the month for August at Dayboro Community Art Gallery is long term member John Chapman. John’s photography zooms into nature; flowers, trees, birds, mountains, streams.
Residing locally at Kobble Creek, he scours the region for special shots taken of the landscape. His works are interpretations highlighting natural textures and rhythms and attempting to capture the hidden spirit of these places. His works as Artist of the Month will focus on some of the hidden delights of the rivers and streams of Pine Rivers, each with their own geology, flora and personality. John has titled his collection for the month as “Streams”.
