DAYBORO DAY FESTIVAL:
Has your club received their application forms and more importantly, have you returned them with your payment? The big day is coming up soon and you don’t want to miss out on your opportunity to make some money for your club and to let the good people of Dayboro know just what you are about.
This is the 24th Dayboro Day Festival and planning is well underway.
We would really like it if we, the committee could take a well earned rest after the 25th year.  If there is anyone interested in learning all about the festival, please let us know.  If not, the 25th festival may be the last. We are not getting any younger and would really like to pass on our knowledge to the younger community.
DAYBORO MARKET:  The markets are going strong with some new stalls this year.  Proceeds from the 2014 markets have been dispersed as follows- $200 to Laps 4 Life, $3250.00 to QIMR (Qld Institute of Medical Research), and $1000.00 to Dayboro Churches Community Chest.  Our Market encourages visitors to our town who then frequent local businesses, and when they have such a lovely time, are keen to visit again and again each month.  The Market is also an opportunity for locals to sell their goods without having to venture too far from home.  The ultimate reward to the Dayboro Sunday Market is being able to provide much needed funds as already mentioned.
Fees for stalls are: $15 for a 3m x 3m site.
For more information, please contact Lexie 3425 2260 or Steve 3425 2456.
NEW PROJECT FOR DDPAI
You will see some activity around the DDPAI shed in the next couple of weeks.  We will be extending our shed to accommodate our ever growing need for space.  With Dayboro Day Festival, Swaggies, Dayboro Christmas Tree and of course the Dayboro Markets, we have decided to add to our shed space.  Steve Adcock is heading up this project for us.
NEXT GENERAL MEETING:
Thursday 21st May 2015 at 6.30pm
All Dayboro residents are very welcome. It is good to get involved in your community and have your say.
