Remember that light-bulb moment whilst watching the 2014 Dayboro Day awards presentation – that idea as to who you should nominate! . . Do something about it NOW!! Get those thinking caps on and put together your nomination for the people or business of your choice.
Remember that the more information you supply the better, as the panel will use this as the basis to make their decision.
Forms are available from Dayboro Cottage and the ECU Office.

Resident of the Year Award
The “Resident of the Year Award” shall be awarded to a member of the community in recognition of a significant contribution to the Dayboro District Community. Submissions may be made from individuals, groups or organisations that have strong links with the Dayboro district. Each submission should provide details of:
Nature of the contribution.
Benefit to the community.
How and when it was achieved
Personal effort involved
Any other supporting information
Young Achiever Award
The Young Achiever Award shall be awarded to a person under 25 years of age as at 31st May, who resides in the district, for outstanding personal achievement. For example, achievement could be in any of the following fields:
Academic, leadership, sporting, cultural activity, citizenship or community involvement or other relevant areas.
Submissions should provide details of the following:
Nature of the achievement.
How and when it was achieved.
Why it was an outstanding personal achievement.
Any other supporting information.
Business Recognition Award
The Business Recognition Award will be presented to a local business (postcode 4520, 4521) not necessarily with a shop front, who support community events, give courteous and prompt service and is making a difference to their business and the community. Details required are along the same lines as for Resident of the Year Award e.g. each submission should provide details of:
Nature of the contribution.
Benefit to the community.
How and when it was achieved
Personal effort involved
Any other supporting information
