One of the most frustrating and demotivating statements that was thrown at me when I first started to put my art up for sale was ”don’t expect to make a living from art”. But you know where I got the best feeling and motivation, from the look on their faces when I actually started making sales.
You don’t need permission or approval to be you, and do what you do.
DON’T compromise your artistic integrity or change the look of your art, in the process of making money.
What you do need is exposure, you need to find your audience. The people who love what you do, but it will not happen if your work is still stored in the back shed.
