DAYBORO COMMUNITY AWARDS: Where are all your nominations? Don’t wait until it is too late. Application forms are at Dayboro ECU and Dayboro Cottage. If you can’t make it to either of these places, please email me and I will send you out an application form. We need nominations for the following:

Young Achiever
Business Achiever

THANK YOU to Dayboro Lions for helping out with our last meeting. Peter Brady gave us an insight into the Endeavour Rally. It was very interesting and very informative. It looks like heaps of fun for a good cause.
DAYBORO DAY FESTIVAL is in the final stages of planning. If you are a Community Association and haven’t sent you application form……get to it now!!!
DAYBORO DAY WATERLESS RAFT RACE: Applications have been sent to our Not for Profit Associations and Sporting Clubs. If you are still unsure about who will be driving your raft on the day please send completed forms back and we will fill in this important section closer to the day. We need to know numbers for this great event. If you fit the criteria for this race and would like to enter, please email and I will send out an application form. Everyone’s a winner!
DAYBORO MARKET: First Sunday of the month (except Jan). Fees for stalls are:
$15 for a 3m x 3m site.

CRITERIA FOR DAYBORO COMMUNITY AWARDS
RESIDENT OF THE YEAR:
The ‘Resident of the Year’ Award shall be awarded by the Dayboro District Progress Association Inc to a member of the community in recognition of a significant contribution to the Dayboro District Community.
YOUNG ACHIEVER:
The ‘Young Achiever’ Award shall be awarded to a person under the age of 25years as at 31st May, who resides in the district, for outstanding personal achievement. For example, achievement could be in any of the following fields:
Academic
Leadership
Sporting
Cultural Activity
Citizenship
Community Involvement
Other Relevant Areas
DAYBORO DISTRICT BUSINESS RECOGNITION:
The Dayboro District Business Recognition Award will be presented to a local business (postcode 4521, 4520) not necessarily with a shop front, which support community events, gives courteous and prompt service, and is making a difference to their business and their community.
