Artist of the Month – JOHN CHAPMAN
For April only there is an exhibition of nature-inspired works at the Gallery by John Chapman.
John’s work is related to rivers, the seaside, harbours, fires, mountains and even the humble pebble.
With photographs as the base, pictures emerge, highlighting natural textures or the spirit of the scene.
John has been with the Dayboro Gallery for four years and has exhibited with the Queensland Festival of Photography. He is trained in agriculture and science and has been involved lifelong in nature photography, travel, national parks, conservation, and the bush.
The Dayboro Community Art Gallery is located in a pretty setting, an hours relaxed drive from the Brisbane CBD, via Samford, or Petrie. via Dayboro Road.
Opening hours are 10 – 3pm 7 days.
