APEX UPDATE April09

apex_brand_-_colour.jpgHello there, what a weekend!

I am sitting here at the keyboard thinking of how to describe the Valley Vibes music afternoon and words fail me.  Anyone who was there would have experienced a superlative and joyous celebration of the Apex Club of Dayboro in now, its 30th year.
So what’s new about the Apex hanging about the Crown Hotel?  Happens most weekends… Well, this time we brought some bands, some balloons, some sausages, some face paint, some seafood trays, some mates and we had a BALL looking for new member material.  In fact, the Hansson tribe carried on looking until the next day and suffered the consequences.
If you are sitting lonely and unfulfilled on the first or third Thursday evening of the month, get yourself down to the Crown and get involved with the Apex Club of Dayboro.  Motto “For good food, for good fellowship, and the privilege to serve, we give thanks”.  I think there is something, for everyone in there and we look forward to meeting you.
By the time you read this the Bush Dance should have gone off like a frog in a sock, as ever, and we should have a new Show Girl – congratulations to the Face of Dayboro, I’m confident it won’t be an Apexian…
The smoke alarm/battery replacement project should have run its course, if I manage to get the posters out;  and we might have managed to lodge our accounts with the Department of Fair Trading.  All pigs fed and ready to fly…
Regards
Rambling Ruston
