The RSL is committed to not only provide day to day Advocacy and Representational support, but also provide day to day assistance to all veterans and ex service men and women regardless of the their membership in the League. It is a means for members to enjoy camaraderie and mate ship whilst promoting loyalty and pride in one’s Nation, its people, the Crown and the Australian Flag.
Remembrance Day Monday 11th November 2013
Remembrance Day memorabilia – badges, pins wristbands, poppies etc will be available once again from the RSL table which will be located on the lawn outside of the Dayboro IGA , 2nd to 9th Nov from 3-5 pm daily, and on weekends 9am – 12 noon. Last minute items will also be available at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day, prior to commencement of the 11am ceremony.
As per last year, and as a show of appreciation for the community support with Remembrance and Anzac Days, the Dayboro RSL intends to hold a FREE sausage sizzle between 9-12 am Saturday 9 November 2013. The RSL bar-b-que and tent will be located opposite the IGA and all Dayboro residents are welcome to attend. The members of the RSL are looking forward to meeting new faces and catching up with the ones we already know on the day.

23 October

26 October
1917 Pte. P.E. Gratwick awarded the VC at Miteirya Ridge, Western Desert
1956 2 RAR in action against terrorists in Malaya
