May 2010 . . PONY CLUB for May 2010
Another year is well under way at Dayboro Pony Club. We have a lot of new members and a good collection of the “old hands”.
Already this year members have been taking advantage of our muster days, learning new riding skills and extending on their experiences. Our instructors have kindly donated their time to help riders to progress and enjoy the time spent with their horses.
Earlier this year we had a number of children successfully complete their level “C” certificates, congratulations!! Some members have also been out representing the club at competitions including showjumping, dressage, eventing and gymkhanas.
In early April, four of our members successfully competed at the State Showjumping and Equitation Championships bringing home some well earned ribbons.
With so much going on, muster days have mostly been on Saturday afternoons rather than Sunday. Our next Sunday muster will be on 23 May, so anyone wishing to see what we get up to is welcome to come and observe and join us in a sausage sizzle for lunch.
