The latest show from the Samford Valley Theatre Group, "Unoriginal Sin", opens on August 14 for a six show season.
Bill is rich, alcoholic and has the sex drive of an adolescent bull on steroids and is being divorced by Jenny – but she’s keeping his money.  Bill is trying to seduce Eve, who’s engaged to the librarian Neville.  Miles is upset that Bill slept with his wife.  And then there’s the Father Tomlins’s 11th commandment – "though shalt not pick out a man’s entrails with a sharp stick".
This superb English comedy, written by David Tristram features some new faces for Samford:
– Christine Lea Powell  who plays the shopaholic ex-wife to be,
– Matthew Bass as the rich playboy ex-husband to be,
– Ellen Hardisty from Ferny Hills playing sweet, innocent Eve, and
– David Whatson as the money-grabbing lawyer.
They’re joined by Samford regulars Rod Hogan & Erik de Witt who play Father Tomlin and Neville, the Librarian.
