Dayboro Playgroup’s two groups meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from
Hi There Everyone,
We hope this finds you all well in the closing stages of the 08 winter. Did we all enjoy the Olympics? I know a few households where the little rascals in residence were inspired by the efforts and examples of our Aussie Olympians. The couches became swimming/diving pools and many races were had around the dining room tables or hallways. Sticks turned into fencing swords and many new karate movements created. All fun and games until injuries had to be patched by the resident medic, Mum. At least they are engaged in real life learning and who knows one may very well be at an Olympics in the future.
Our congratulations go out to the Oxlade family. Warren, Tracey, Alexandra and Kenneth have a new arrival to their family in the form of Geoffrey William. He joined us on 30th July and weighed a healthy 7lb 13oz. We are looking forward to meeting and welcoming Geoffrey to our playgroup soon.
Who out there in the Dayboro community has a melamine plate with a personal masterpiece on it???? Our Little Rascals are in the process of creating a masterpiece that will then be transferred onto a plate.
Many of us have been busy selling Playgroup Art Union Tickets. Some great prizes to be won so if you haven’t got any yet find a playgroupie and make a purchase. Please get the tickets in as soon as possible to help with the processing of them.
Please don’t forget that Playgroup is open to everyone and you can go on either day. We are a very friendly group that looks out for the development of your children and caters for the wellbeing and support of the caregivers. Come along and check it out. We are sure you will come back time after time.
