The Dayboro Grapevine is asking you to be involved and nominate a local who you know deserves a pat on the back.
There are so many regional superstars who we know whose efforts go unrecognised. Now is your chance to stand up and say thank you, give them that special acknowledgement they may never get. The best thing is it‟s so easy to nominate and can make a world of difference.
There are seven categories open to nominate in:
- The Salvation Army Employment Plus Business & Employment Award
- The MacAir Airlines Events and Tourism Award
- The Coffee Club Arts and Culture Award
- The Bartercard Regional Service Award
- The Golden Circle Environment and Landcare Award
- The Golding Contractors Youth Leadership Award
- The Kleenheat Gas Community of the Year Award
Prizes include either a Commonwealth Bank $2,500 AwardSaver account or Television Air Time Prize Package on Southern Cross Ten.
So hurry and get those nominations in. They close on Friday 12th September 2008. Lets ensure there is someone from Dayboro represented as a finalist at the Gala Presentation on the 15th November in Mackay.
