SWAGGIES CHRISTMAS 2008

Lots of families came along to enjoy this year’s Swaggies Christmas, organised by the Dayboro District Progress Association with assistance from the Dayboro Lions.  Thanks also to Cr. Bob Millar for his donation towards the event.

With so many of the Moreton Bay region’s Christmas events cancelled or switched to an alternate venue due to the rain and/or threat of destructive storms, we were very fortunate to have a beautiful day for our event.
The best bit was that Mum and Dad only had to be reaching for their wallets when it came to food and drinks for their hungry brood.
Fine weather (just slightly overcast skies), face painting and stage entertainment (pictured above) sausage sizzle available- oh and a Jumping Castle too . . .   Did you check out the Jumping Castle (pictured below)?    What a beauty!!!  It was like several activities in one . . . and massive!!
