TRASH & TREASURE and BAKE SALE
Sunday 7th October
at the DAYBORO MARKETS.

JOEY SCOUTS:
Joey scouts are aged between 6 and 8 years of age, and it’s all about fun.  Joey Scouts learn how to share and care while having fun with their friends.  With this in mind, last Thursday we invited Animal Rescue local Madonna O’Brien, to come along and share with us the important work that she does caring for injured animals.  Madonna bought along baby kangaroo’s and wallabies and a baby possum.  Of course the Joey scouts were very excited and happy to learn about all of the things Madonna has to do to help these animals be ready to be returned to their natural habitat.  Madonna says that this, on average, takes two years.  The job of Animal rescue is not only time consuming but also quite costly.
With this in mind we have decided that this is a great learning opportunity for our Joey Scouts.  The Joey Scouts motto is Help Other People.  So we are going to help raise some much needed funds for Madonnas Animal Rescue. 

TRASH & TREASURE and BAKE SALE
On Sunday the 7th of October we are holding a Trash & Treasure and Bake sale at the Dayboro Markets.  

Can you help? If anyone has anything they would like to donate, be it cooking or items to add to our Trash and Treasure please ring to arrange collection:
