Sep2013_A New Church For Dayboro

There is an exciting development coming for the Dayboro community with a new church commencing services on Sunday 22 September.

Dayboro Church will hold services in the school hall at 58 McKenzie Street at 9.30 am every Sunday with a separate program designed especially for children.
The church will have an interesting heritage with the Senior Pastor and his wife, Gary and Judy Levens, originally hailing from Auckland, New Zealand and having worked in Chile and, for the past 20 years, in churches in Brisbane.
Along the way they have also worked in establishing and supporting orphanages in India, Africa and South America, including one run by a Dayboro local, Mik Henzell, in the Bolivian Amazon.
Gary and Judy have raised a family in Australia and moved to Dayboro 3 years ago to take advantage of the wonderful rural and family environment as they looked to future retirement plans.
As it has turned out, they have loved Dayboro so much, they are starting a church!
Gary and Judy have found a high level of interest in locals and built a team of people from the Dayboro area and nearby to work with them in establishing a strong community church with a focus on family.
