Mayor Allan Sutherland in the media spotlight.
The Moreton Bay region will receive national and international television exposure when SkyNews Business Channel 602 screens an interview with Mayor Allan Sutherland.
The 15-minute interview took place on Friday, March 20 and is scheduled to be broadcast in the coming weeks on a Monday night on the Moneymakers program at 8 pm.
Cr Sutherland said the program would mainly feature the suburb of Kallangur which the television program had identified as a great place to live and invest.
“As the third largest council in Australia and one which is experiencing rapid growth, it is understandable the region is attracting national attention,” Cr Sutherland said.
“It is also understandable that investment is healthy in our region as we have sound planning polices in place and room for growth.
“We are also ideally situated between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and can offer a variety of lifestyles,” he said.
A Sky Television spokesperson said the episode would be repeated three times during the week after screening and would be available for web viewing for more than 12 months.
“The episodes attract a large viewing audience post-screening and include investors from all over the world,” she said.
