DAYBORO POLICE    Phone 3425 1200

On 19th August, 2009 between 8.15am and 1.30pm entry was forced to a residence at Armstrong Creek and cash stolen.
On the evening of 18th August a grass fire was deliberately started on the side of Dayboro Road, Rush Creek.  Fortunately, due to prevailing conditions, the fire did not get the chance to cause a major grass fire and was out prior to the arrival of the Rural Fire Brigade.  A fuel container left at the scene has been retained for further examination.
Between 15th and 16th August a miniature horse was stolen from yards at a Kriesch Road property.
On 27th July a vehicle which had been stolen from Ferny Grove was left on Bennett Road at Samsonvale and set alight.
Any person with information in relation to these or other offences, please contact Dayboro Police Station Ph 34251200 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
The Dayboro skatepark is well used and with school holidays approaching I would expect even more use.  This is a good facility for the town and whilst there are not usually too many problems, instances of bullying, graffiti and stealing do occur.  I would urge parents of younger children to maintain supervision.  For older children, please make sure that they do not take along unnecessary valuables or money.  Please report any suspicious activity to the police station.
Senior Constable Troy Nowitzki has been appointed as the new permanent police officer at Dayboro Station.  He has transferred from Bellbowrie Police Beat and will start at Dayboro on 1st September.
Due to the number of requests received at the station to have documents witnessed, I have recently gone through the process of being appointed as a Justice of the Peace.  Please contact the station if I can assist in this regard.
