POLICE NEWS May 2009
The next meeting of the Dayboro Rural Watch will be held on 19th May at Dayboro Bowls Club commencing 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend. Between 16th and 17th April a ride on mower was stolen from a block being built on in Royston Street, Dayboro.
Overnight on 13th April an attempt was made to steal a pump connected to a water tank at a Brahman Court residence.
Over the Easter week-end a gate was taken from a side yard in Bradley Street.
Between 6th and 8th April both number plates were removed from a vehicle left parked at Lees Crossing.
On 22nd March a vehicle stolen from Albany Creek was located at Cedar Creek.
In spite of the heavy rain, it was pleasing to see that there were only a small number of traffic crashes in the area and no one seriously injured. The hazard of crossing flooded roadways was highlighted with two vehicles washed into local creeks with no person injured.
