Rural Watch – The recent meeting of the Dayboro and District Rural Watch was well attended. As a result of strong community support I am pleased to advise that the Rural Watch will continue. I would like to congratulate the new committee members and sincerely thank outgoing members who have been long term supporters and have indeed kept the ‘watch’ going over the last few years. Between 10th and 12th February 2009 entry was gained by unknown means to the Dayboro and Districts Junior Sports Club and money stolen.
Between 7th and 8th February 2009 damage was caused to a trampoline frame inside the Dayboro pool complex.
Overnight on 28th January 2009 entry was gained to the ABC Childcare centre in Heathwood Street Dayboro and a small amount of money stolen.
On 24th January 2009 two offenders were located and charged by Boondall Police after stealing a street sign from Winn Road, Cashmere.
A mini bike was stolen from outside a business in Williams Street Dayboro between 16th and 19th January 2009. The property has been recovered from an address in Dayboro.
Between 18th and 21st January 2009 a Landrover Discovery stolen from Cashmere was abandoned and set on fire on Gold Scrub Lane, Samsonvale. The vehicle was totally destroyed by fire.
