Changes to mandatory cat registration
The Queensland Government has repealed state-wide mandatory cat registration to empower and reduce the regulatory burden and red tape for councils and cat owners.
Biosecurity Queensland Officer Greg McDougall said councils have 28 days from today (media release dated 23 September 2013) to determine the course of action appropriate for their area.
Pine Rivers VIEW Club – Next Meeting Oct 16th
VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women.
Pine Rivers VIEW Club’s next monthly luncheon will be held on Wednesday 16th October at Murrumba Downs Tavern, Dohles Rocks Rd, from 11am-2pm. A.I.R. – Next Meeting Oct 18th
A.I.R. (Association of Independent Retirees) meets monthly at the Wavell Heights Community Hall in Edingburgh Castle Road on the third Friday of the month at 9.30am. The meeting closes at approximately noon. All visitors and members welcome – coffee and bickies provided. We also hold a monthly meeting on the second Friday of the month at the Chermside library in Hamilton Road, in a round table type discussion. Come along for a chat and learn something.
